Atlantic Sea Farms is a women-run, mission driven, vertically integrated, regenerative kelp aquaculture company based in Maine.  Their retail line of fermented seaweed salad, smoothie cubes, sauerkraut and kimchi is made with kelp sourced from local kelp farm partners.

About Atlantic Sea Farms

Our founders created the first commercially viable seaweed farm in the United States in 2009, with the goal of diversifying how our coastal waters are used and providing a domestic, fresh, healthy alternative to imported seaweed products. Now, more than ever, we need food sources that can positively impact the economic and environmental health of our coastal communities. Here in Maine, climate change is already making landfall, and our future depends on finding new ways for lobster fishermen to work on the water while improving the health of our oceans.
