Tending the Tides: Maine’s Aquaculture Apprenticeships (Film Premiere)
May 1 @ 6:00 pm - 8:15 pm
$10
Celebrate Maine Seaweed Week and join friends of MOFF, the Maine Aquaculture Association, World Wildlife Fund, and FocusMaine for the world premiere of TENDING THE TIDES, a new short film by Maine Mountain Media.
TENDING THE TIDES follows the inspiring journeys of Maine’s first shellfish and seaweed aquaculture apprentices as they build hands-on careers on the water—gaining essential skills and helping sustain Maine’s working waterfronts. Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion exploring aquaculture in Maine, workforce development through apprenticeship, and the future of this vital industry.
