Kelp Farmer Pop-Up at SoPo Seafood

Join local kelp and oyster farmer, Greg Foote of Dirigo Marine Resources, at SoPo Seafood Market and Raw Bar to talk all things seaweed and aquaculture. And what better way to enjoy this Thursday evening talk than with creative cocktails and seaweed and oyster pairings fresh from the raw bar featuring Greg’s kelp.
The SoPo Seafood menu is packed this week (and every week!) with seaweed dishes. You’ll be able to order spectacular Seaweed Week food and drink specials from the menu. Some of our favorite past and current SoPo seaweed creations include:
- Seaweed salad with Maine scallop crudo
- Tuna tartare rice bowl with wakame sprinkles
- Pub-style cod chowder with dulse flakes
- Kelp infused martinin
- Cup of Sea teas
