Green Goodness Smoothie

Contributed by Ocean’s Balance, a line of innovative seaweed products that are healthy for you and the planet, which also just happen to be delicious. We want to make it easy for you to include seaweed in your diet, as an ingredient in cooking, as a topping for avocado toast or right out of the bag.

INGREDIENTS

1 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced

1/2 ripe banana, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves, rinsed

1/2 cup regular milk or almond milk

1/2 cup orange juice

3 tablespoons Ocean's Balance Kelp Purée (or fresh / frozen kelp)

YIELD: 2 servings

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients to blender. Blend for one to two minutes, until ingredients are well blended and smooth, and the liquid is a pretty, light-green color. Serve immediately.

Note: Avocado makes it quite thick. Add more milk or juice to thin it out if desired.
